Q.1 Fifty minutes ago if it was four times as many minutes past 3 o’clock. How many minutes is it to 6 o’clock.

Ans: 26 mins

Let there be x minutes left for 6'o'clock. Between 3 and 6, we have 180 minutes. So we can also say, that the time is now, 180-x minutes from 3.

Now the question says, 50 minutes ago from (180-x) ..........(180-x-50)
it was four times as many minutes past 3 ...........(4x)

180-x-50 = 4x
x = 26 minutes
