Job Role: Digital Hardware Design/Verification - Intern
Responsibilities:
* To learn and understand ARC Processor micro-architecture.
* Learn cutting edge functional verification flow. Participate in product verification cycle from testplan development to functional coverage closure.
* Perform various RTL code quality improvement tasks such as Linting and engineering testing to improve overall product quality.
* Develop and maintain our micro-processor hardware IP including, specification, implementation and test
* Interact with the verification, tools, modeling and simulation teams globally to deliver optimized solutions for our customers
Requirements:
* Strong desire to work with embedded processors or processor based systems
* Knowledge of digital design and ideally, RISC architectures
* Understanding of programming at assembly, C/C++ knowledge is desirable.
* Knowledge of tools such as, RTL Simulators, e.g. VCS, IES, Questa
* Knowledge of Operating Systems such as, Linux, Windows XP/Vista
* Good analytical skills
* Excellent written and verbal skills
* Written and spoken English
* Detailed status reporting
* Ability to present results to the program management teams
* Candidate should have bachelor’s degree in engineering or should be undergoing graduation program in relevant engineering streams.
* Self motivated
