UPSC Assistant Commandant CAPF Examination last date 8th April-2016

Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) Assistant Commandants Examination, 2016

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will hold a written Examination on 26th June 2016 for recruitment of 270 posts (BSF-28, CRPF-97,  ITBP-87, SSB-58) of Assistant Commandants (Group A) in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) viz. Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF),  Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).

Eligibility: 

• Age : Not less than 20 years and not more than 25 years as on 1st August, 2016. The upper age is relaxable for SC/ ST/ OBC and certain other categories of candidates to the extent specified in the Notice.
• Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree of any recognised university or an equivalent qualification.
• Physical Standards: Candidates must be physically fit according to the Regulations given in notice.
• Sex : Both male and female candidates are eligible for appointment to BSF, CRPF. However, only male candidates are eligible for appointment in ITBP.

Possession of NCC B or C Certificate will be a desirable qualification. The desirable qualifications will be given consideration at the time of Interview/ Personality Test only.  

Pay Scale : PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 grade pay Rs.5400/-

Selection Procedure : Selection will be based on the basis of a written examination to be conducted on 26/06/2016 by the UPSC followed by Physical Standards/ Physical Efficiency Test and Medical Standards Test to be conducted by the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Personality Test/ Interview to be conducted by UPSC.

Fee: Rs.200/- (SC/ST/Women candidates are exempted) to be deposited in Branches of SBI by cash, or by using net banking facility of SBI, State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur/ State Bank of Hyderabad/ State Bank of Mysore / State Bank of Patiala/ State Bank of Travancore or by using Visa/Master Credit/Debit Card.

UPSC Indian Economic and Statistical Service Examination 2016

INDIAN ECONOMIC SERVICE (IES)/ INDIAN STATISTICAL SERVICE (ISS) EXAMINATION, 2016

The Union Public Service commission will hold the Indian Economic Service (IES)/ Indian Statistical Service (ISS) Examination commencing from 13th May 2016 for recruitment to Grade IV of the Indian Economic Service (IES) and Indian Statistical Service (ISS). The examination will be held at various centers across the country. 

Conditions of Eligibility :  28 posts (Indian Economic Service - 15, Indian Statistical Service - 13)

(A) Age Limits, Sex and Marital Status:

• Age Limit : Candidates must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on 1st August, 2016. Relaxation in the upper age limit as per Govt. of India rules.

Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) Assistant Commandants Examination, 2015

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will hold a written Examination on 12th July 2015 for recruitment of 304 posts (BSF-28, CRPF-94, CISF-37, ITBP-107, SSB-38) of Assistant Commandants (Group A) in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) viz. Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).

Eligibility:

• Age : Not less than 20 years and not more than 25 years as on 1st August, 2015. The upper age is relaxable for SC/ ST/ OBC and certain other categories of candidates to the extent specified in the Notice.
• Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree of any recognised university or an equivalent qualification.
• Physical Standards: Candidates must be physically fit according to the Regulations given in notice.
• Sex : Both male and female candidates are eligible for appointment to BSF, CRPF and CISF. However, only male candidates are eligible for appointment in ITBP.

Possession of NCC B or C Certificate will be a desirable qualification. The desirable qualifications will be given consideration at the time of Interview/ Personality Test only.

Selection Procedure : Selection will be based on the basis of a written examination to be conducted on 12/07/2015 by the UPSC followed by Physical Standards/ Physical Efficiency Test and Medical Standards Test to be conducted by the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Personality Test/ Interview to be conducted by UPSC.

INDIAN ECONOMIC SERVICE (IES)/ INDIAN STATISTICAL SERVICE (ISS) EXAMINATION, 2015

The Union Public Service commission will hold the Indian Economic Service (IES)/ Indian Statistical Service (ISS) Examination commencing from 23rd May 2015 for recruitment to Grade IV of the Indian Economic Service (IES) and Indian Statistical Service (ISS).
